The nearest airport is Queretaro (QRO). 
It is about one and a half hours from San Miguel.
Mexico City (MEX) is a 4 hour drive. There is a bus or shuttle to San Miguel.
An alternative route is to fly to Cancun, spend 2 nights at the beach, fly on Via or Volaris from Cancun to Querataro.

Local Transportation
Casa Angelitos is a 20 min walk to downtown San Miguel de Allende where there are many restaurants, artisan shops and sites to see. From there, you can take a taxi for excursions or ride the taxi back up the hill to Casa Angelitos for $5.00.
